Meet the Team

Larry Kloppe is a graduate of Central Missouri State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a minor in accounting. He continued his education with advanced studies in Econometrics at Rutgers University and Accounting and Economics at St. Louis University. In 1987, he became a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and brings with him a wealth of investment knowledge and research skills. He enjoys the two main aspects of his job, helping clients define their goals and implementing strategies to attain those goals through the research and analysis of investments which defines his money management process. In July 2013, he joined his colleague, Ron Scheer in opening their own office to continue his work and providing the best service for his clients.

Projects involving young people have been a lifelong passion for Larry, beginning with service to 4-H and FFA programs. He served on the YMCA Board of Directors and has coached grade school basketball for more than 30 years. Larry is an avid runner and enjoys competing in local runs, including half marathons. He is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and has served the church in various capacities, including President of the Congregation, President of the Board of Directors, President of the Elders, Chairman of the Board of Finance, and a Sunday School Teacher.

Larry and his wife, Lana, have been married more than 50 years and have four children and seven grandchildren. Larry and Lana make their home in Washington, Missouri.
